Mailer Lite landing page

Competitive analysis

I started doing a competitive analysis including email marketing potential competitors. I made a research specifically into ‘Blog and Resources’ sections to see how they work, in search of positive and negative aspects.

SendinBlue

✅ Positive: Clear ‘Subscribe to newsletter’ call to action banner.

⛔️ Negative: A lot of categories.

GetResponse

✅ Positive: Clean, categories well organized.

⛔️ Negative: Only CTA to register to the platform. No ‘Subscribe to newsletter’

Mailchimp

✅ Positive: Good wizard, step by step guide to start.

⛔️ Negative: Again, no newsletter subscription.

Landing page objectives

• Get more subscribers in our weekly newsletter
• Index our content for our articles to be found in search results

Insights / Features to include

• Provide quality content and tools to solve real user problems
• Explain MailerLite new features and updates
• Organize content from previous newsletters and generate stories
• Allow users to search

Wireframes

Wireframes were worked from a marketing approach. 3 different ways of subscribing to the newsletter were included, always considering not ruining the user experience and not being invasive.

1
Categories
2

3
Article list size regular
4
Banner call to action ‘newsletter subscription’
5

6

7

8

Design System

A styleguide was generated to ensure the correct implementation of all the elements. Through the creation of reusable components, the design process was streamlined.
