Brief
Design a responsive web dashboard that connects residents that live in the same private community (a building, for example). The target audience is busy young professionals (aged 18-35) who are new to the area.
Some of the key functionalities of the platform are to provide an easy way for residents to connect and communicate with each other, book a parking space, stay informed about community events, and complete their basic profile.
Solution
Community connection app
According to the assigned time for the exercise I put my focus on creating wireframes, hi fidelity designs (desktop and mobile), interactive prototype and events user flow.
Wireframes
Wireframes were worked from a marketing approach. 3 different ways of subscribing to the newsletter were included, always considering not ruining the user experience and not being invasive.
Hi fi design: Desktop
Mobile views
Prototype
Designs were connected into clickable prototype for a navigable experience.
Behind the scenes
A bit of my process to explain why certain decisions were made and to expand on the proposed functionalities.
